Since 1993 they have utilised the floatation tank for their athletes.
The AIS has a world class Recovery Centre which provides high performance athletes with cutting edge recovery techniques using a multidisciplinary approach to optimise both training and performance. The Recovery Centre is able to facilitate both wet and dry post-game / training recovery with the floatation tank being an integral part of their facility.
Their expertise has seen Australia punch way above their weight on the world sporting scene, with a population that has only recently topped 20 million the nation has excelled at Olympic Games and in a multitude of team sports… Rugby Union, Rugby League, Cricket, netball and cycling to name a few.
IN 2016 they decided to upgrade to a product that best suited their need for a high quality, reliable float tank suitable for use by high achieving athletes.
After consulting with a 3rd party advisor they were pointed in the direction of the i-sopod.
We were exceptionally happy to supply them with a pod and we look forward to their athletes benefiting for many years from their sessions in the i-sopod…… even when they compete against England!
